It’s always a great day for honesty. I’m reminded that God knows where I am, but He still desires for me to come to Him. Doesn’t it feel good to know you are so loved that you are wanted? Feelings aside; my faith, hope and love comes from God sending His only Son as our Savior, the Savior of the world, that we might have a relationship with Him. Loving God isn’t based upon feelings and receiving His love shouldn’t be based upon how well my day is going. God’s love and His great love for me is a truth that is always living. God’s tender mercies are a fact in my everyday mornings and His is a love that is never ending and never failing.
Faith is believing God, even when life is throwing rocks and each step seems more daunting than the next. Having faith in God is actually the most rewarding when life is challenging because you truly know how loved you are in Christ. It’s in those moments of suffering that Christ has carried me through, He has seen me through and loved me so deeply and securely that I know that I know, I am not alone. God is always faithful and when I would’ve given up, He never gave up on me.
This is true hope today. God never giving up on you is a hope to cling to! Take a second or ten and let that sink in. God never gave up on me.
The love of God Love is the greatest commandment. Why then do so many people feel unloved? I am fully convinced that when I believe God is God and He loves me with a love that cannot compare to anything in this world I then can press on to continue a life of faith, hope and love in Christ Jesus. Have you forgotten how loved by God you are? Do you needed reminded today that God sent His Son for your sin and in Christ you are free! In Christ Jesus, I am free from sin, guilt and condemnation! Hallelujah! You have something GOOD to shout about today!
The new year is here and it’s a day that brings all sorts of feelings and reflections upon our life. Allow today to take you into a position of faith in God, knowing that in Christ you are complete and through the precious blood of Jesus you have been made new. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus! Say it out loud today! Rejoicing in the Lord knowing you are a child of God.
Take the time to receive every good gift that God has for you. God only gives good gifts! You will not want to return what the Lord has for you today. God has a word of refreshing that will revive and restore your soul today! I read God’s word daily to know Him and to receive His best for my life. It’s in knowing Him that I find the real me. If you’ve been searching for who you are? Read the Bible, you’ll find out how loved by Christ you really are. I also read God’s word to kick out thoughts of this world that would try and steal, kill and destroy. God’s Word is my weapon against the lies and strategies of Satan and it’s the very source of my life! This is how my faith, hope and love can grow, by reading and receiving the words of Christ.
Pressing on in Christ isn’t just moving forward from the hardship or failures in life, it’s also taking a step forward into a newness of all that God has for us. New mercies from God each day mean I can press forward in how I love others in Christ Jesus. I press forward daily to possess Christ in His perfection that I may know Him and grow in Christ Jesus daily! Pressing on to a greater place of fruitfulness, and I am talking about Holy Spirit fruit here. Love – joy – peace – patience – kindness – goodness – faith – gentleness and self control!
Have you thought about the word pressing? It’ll involve effort. Perseverance is real whether we like it or not. The key is knowing that your strength comes from Jesus. It’s time to stop pressing on in your own merit, because you simply aren’t strong enough. There is a Mighty King that has already defeated every enemy you are up against and it’s in Him that you are able to move, breathe and have your very being. I can either press on or stay the same old me. It’s a choice and the only one that can make that choice is me. I press forward today in Christ Jesus. Make that decision with me today. My race in life is one of faith, hope and love in Jesus and each step I take is a step made in Him.
